The Versitar Thinline
$1,850.00

The Versitar line now features a "Thinline" model, designed with a body depth of just 2 inches and a lower bout width of 13 ¾ inches for improved comfort and familiarity for electric guitarists. Like its predecessor, the Thinline is available in a variety of premium tonewood combinations, as well as more traditional options like Sitka spruce and mahogany. The base model starts at $1,850 and includes an LR Baggs Hi-Fi system.

Inspired by the Tacoma Chief that George Gruhn designed in the 1990s, the Versitar represents its evolutionary successor. George refined the original concept with a singular focus on tonal efficiency. The offset soundhole not only enhances the structural durability of the top, a common vulnerability in traditional acoustic guitars, but also allows for fewer top braces. This innovation results in a more resonant soundboard and an expanded frequency response.

The neck extends over 22 easily accessible frets and features a full-length truss rod for comprehensive adjustability, all thanks to a furniture-style bolt-on neck joint. The absence of a fretboard extension resting on the guitar's top further enhances resonance. Together, these elements provide a guitarist with unparalleled tonal versatility, playability, and creative potential not found in any other instrument.

The Versitar invites every guitarist to explore and define their distinctive sound.
